Concept note:
Our client envisions a magnificent bungalow that perfectly suits the needs of their family of six. With a requirement for five bedrooms, this home will provide ample space and comfort for each family member. Their aspiration is for a modern and distinctive building elevation that will make a bold statement in the neighborhood. The desire is for this bungalow to stand out conspicuously from the typical residential apartments, with an architectural design that exudes contemporary elegance. Beyond aesthetics, our client is also insistent on ensuring that this home is equipped with all the essential amenities to guarantee a convenient and luxurious lifestyle. This project presents a delightful opportunity to harmonize form and function, creating a unique and captivating space where family life can thrive amidst a design that is both eye-catching and exceptionally livable.
Design approach:
With the plot's front facing the south, our architectural approach prioritized both climate considerations and distinct identity for the building. To strike this balance, we conceptualized a striking terracotta jaali for the facade. This not only bestows a unique character upon the house but also plays a pivotal role in temperature regulation, ensuring that the interior remains cool and comfortable. The incorporation of vastu principles in the overall planning of the plot was instrumental in harmonizing the design with the plot's natural elements, creating a seamless blend of aesthetics and functionality that respects both tradition and sustainability.
